Description:
This is an introduction to Plasma, a process of creating light sculptures using blown glass and electrified gases that produce an interactive and dynamic light that responds to proximity and touch.
We will cover the basics of creating an airtight vessel for Plasma using various hot glass techniques and shaping methods, discuss guidelines on form and structure, and design considerations, and prepare your sculptures to be filled. We’ll refine what you know, add new skills, and bring your ideas to light!
