Chris Burak resides in Calgary AB Canada. He has been working with borosilicate glass in his self built lampworking studio since 2003. He specializes in scientific borosilicate glass. Chris works on a litton lathe with a GTT torch, and on a bench with a Herbert Arnold Zenit Burner.
He has always had a profound interest in cosmology and astronomy. In 2016 Chris built his first vacuum manifold to introduce inert gasses into his work to produce plasma effects. Inspired by outerspace.
